Martina is Project Manager and Research Analyst at Carbon Gap, where she leads the Carbon Removal Readiness Assessment Project, analysing how countries can deploy carbon removal at scale. She joined Carbon Gap driven by the urgency to accelerate carbon dioxide removal today to have some chance to reach net-zero by no later than 2050. Prior to joining Carbon Gap, Martina spent six years in corporate climate action with roles at the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), S&P Global and CDP. Her work focussed on net-zero standards, ESG data and climate ratings, with a commitment to bridge science, transparency, and rewards-based systems to drive meaningful climate action.
