As an Associate Policy Lead, Anna fosters the understanding of carbon removal and its inclusion in the EU regulatory framework. Motivated by a passion for innovative climate solutions and a profound belief in individual environmental responsibility, she became a part of the organisation, driven by a commitment to climate optimism.
Prior to joining Carbon Gap, Anna spent two and a half years as an Energy & Climate consultant at FleishmanHillard, where she co-authored a policy handbook on carbon removal. She is a skilled public affairs professional with expertise in strategic advocacy and communication for both multinational corporations and start-ups. She also has extensive research experience in environmental and human rights law.
Anna holds a Master of Laws in Energy & Climate Law and a Bachelor of Laws in International & European Law from the University of Groningen. As a native Russian speaker, she is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in Romanian.
