Associate Policy Director
Valter Selén is an Associate Policy Director at Carbon Gap. His mission is to help make Europe the leader in integrating carbon removals as part of its climate mitigation efforts through the development of Carbon Gap's advocacy strategy in Brussels and Europe. Valter is responsible for Carbon Gap's Policy Tracker, a flagship initiative tracking carbon removal progress across Europe to help the CDR community navigate the rapidly changing policy landscape. Leveraging his Swedish nationality, Valter is especially focused on increasing Carbon Gap's presence in the Nordics, ahead of the curve when it comes to deploying carbon removal initiatives in the region.
