Carbon Removal Policy Summit

Embedding carbon removal in Europe’s evolving climate and industrial policy landscape
16 September | 9h-19h | Brussels
How do we make sense of carbon removal in a world that doesn’t give us clean choices? How do we square the current progress made with the policy landscape of the decade? What tools do we have at our disposal to ensure that CDR fits into this evolving policy space?
On 16 September, in Brussels, we will host our Carbon Removal Policy Summit, a seminal event that addresses these central questions. As we dive into the different policy levers needed to get CDR to scale, we are bringing leaders from across international, EU, national and local governments to explore how to build a distinct, durable CDR pillar within Europe’s climate architecture.
We invite you to join us as we set forward a roadmap for Europe’s role in scaling high-quality removals by 2040 and beyond.
