As Associate Research & Policy Analyst, Thibault focuses on stakeholder mapping over issues pertaining to the establishment of a certification framework at the European level.
Thibault joined Carbon Gap with the ambition to contribute to the development of an efficient and ambitious climate action, for the sake of people and the planet. He believes that Carbon Gap’s science-led, actionable, and rigorous advocacy is crucial in encouraging Europe to acknowledge the importance of carbon removals to combat climate change.
Thibault started as an intern based in Paris, where he focused on developing Carbon Gap’s advocacy strategy towards French policymakers, before joining the Brussels team to work closely on EU action. Prior to that, he worked for the French Treasury in Pretoria, focusing on international cooperation for climate and biodiversity matters in Southern Africa.
Thibault grew up in France and holds a double Master’s Degree in Corporate and Public Management from HEC and Sciences Po Paris.
