Eloisa joined Carbon Gap in October 2022. As an Associate Policy Analyst she mainly focuses on researching deployment incentives for carbon removal methods, and EU policies related to innovation funding and industry.
She joined Carbon Gap because she believes that carbon removal holds a key role in addressing climate change. Her background allows her to highlight the intersection of economics, social and climate topics as we build and share knowledge to raise awareness of all aspects of carbon removal.
Prior to joining Carbon Gap, she worked in research with a policy perspective, most recently focusing on policies for inequality reduction and climate change adaptation measures in coastal cities in Europe.
She holds a BA in Economics from Universidad Central de Venezuela and a MSc. in Global Development Policy obtained through a joint programme of Palacky University (Czech Republic), the University of Clermont Auvergne (France) and the University of Pavia (Italy).
