Devina is an Associate Policy Director at Carbon Gap. Based in London, she leads Carbon Gap’s UK work programme and strategic projects to advance carbon removal across the whole of Europe.
Devina has experience in climate and scientific policymaking having worked in the UK government’s carbon capture and storage programme, which supports a suite of technologies to capture emissions and help decarbonise challenging sectors of the economy.
She also worked in the UK’s Covid-19 Vaccine Taskforce, for which she was awarded an MBE. While working in the Vaccine Taskforce, she saw how bringing together scientists, business and policymakers produced swift outcomes against the Covid pandemic. She believes that the climate crisis will require the same level of urgency, collaboration and optimism that was afforded to the coronavirus vaccine effort.
Devina graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Classics.
