Clotilde Besson

Having worked previously on social media and editorial communications with the think tank Friends of Europe, Clotilde Besson joins CarbonGap as a full time Communications Officer. Convinced that every effort matters, she hopes to help make climate action accessible to everyone at their own level. A tireless optimist, she has found in climate communications the perfect combination of philanthropy and creativity she wishes to build her career on.

She is also involved in the business development of the youth-led Young Global Thinker organisation and was a country ambassador for UNITE2030. 

Clotilde holds a Bachelor’s in Strategic Marketing and Communications from ESSEC Business School, as well as an MSc in Culture and Conflict in Global Europe from the LSE. 

Based in Brussels, she is fluent in French and English, can hold a conversation in Spanish and can read and speak the fundamentals of Japanese and Korean.
